About Us and These Terms

Gulab by Simmi is a Punjabi suit boutique based in Mohali, Punjab, India. We sell stitched (readymade) and unstitched Punjabi suits, including cotton, Phulkari, crush shimmer and bridal collections, to customers across India through gulabbysimmi.com.

These terms apply to everyone who visits or buys from our website. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

Who Can Use Our Store

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or be using the website under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By ordering, you confirm that the details you give us are true and complete.

Products and Descriptions

• We try to show our Punjabi suits as accurately as possible, including fabric, colour, embroidery and dupatta details.
• Colour may vary slightly because of photography, lighting and your screen settings. This is normal and is not a defect.
• Embroidery and handwork are made by skilled artisans, so small differences between pieces are part of the handcrafted charm.
• Unstitched suits are sold as dress material with dupatta, as described on the product page. Stitched suits are readymade, so please check the size details before you order.
• Products are subject to availability. We may update or withdraw a product at any time.

Pricing and Payment

• All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR). Sale prices and discounts apply only for the period shown on the website.
• We work hard to keep prices accurate. If a price is shown incorrectly, we may correct it and contact you before processing the order, and you can then choose to continue or cancel.
• Payments are processed securely by [payment gateway name, e.g. Razorpay / PayU / Cashfree]. We do not store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking password.
• Your order is confirmed only after payment is received, or, for cash-on-delivery orders if offered, after we confirm it with you.

Placing and Accepting Orders

When you place an order, you receive a confirmation message or email. This confirmation shows we have received your order, but the order is accepted when we dispatch it. We may cancel or refuse an order if an item is out of stock, a price or product detail is wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund the full amount.

Shipping and Delivery

• We deliver Punjabi suits across India.
• Orders are carefully packed and dispatched within 24–48 hours.
• Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days from dispatch. Remote areas and events such as festivals, weather or courier delays can take longer.
• Shipping is free on orders above ₹1,999. For smaller orders, any shipping charge is shown at checkout.
• Express shipping and tracking updates on WhatsApp are available for orders.
• Please give a complete and correct delivery address and phone number. We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by wrong details.

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

We want you to love your suit. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us on WhatsApp or email within [number, e.g. 48 hours] of delivery with your order number and clear photos or an unboxing video.

• We accept returns or exchanges if you receive a damaged, defective or wrong item.
• [State the policy for size or fit issues on stitched suits, e.g. exchange within X days, subject to stock.]
• Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered and returned with their original tags and packaging.

Small colour differences caused by photography or screen settings are not treated as defects.

Custom and Stitched Orders

If you ask us for a custom request, such as tailoring or design changes, we will confirm the details, price and timeline with you before we begin. Custom-made items are made specially for you, so [state policy, e.g. they cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or different from what was agreed]. Please check measurements carefully before you confirm.

Your Account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity under your account. Please tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend an account that is used for fraud or breaks these terms.

Intellectual Property

All content on gulabbysimmi.com, including the Gulab by Simmi name, logo, product photographs, designs, text and graphics, belongs to Gulab by Simmi or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, resell or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission. You may share our product pages and Instagram posts for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Acceptable Use

When you use our website, you agree not to:

• Give false information or use someone else’s payment details without permission
• Try to hack, disrupt or overload the website or its security
• Use bots, scrapers or automated tools to copy our products, prices or images
• Post anything unlawful, abusive or misleading in reviews, messages or comments

Limitation of Liability

We take care to keep our website and products accurate and reliable, but the site is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent the law allows, Gulab by Simmi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, such as courier delays, natural events, strikes or internet outages. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable Indian consumer protection laws.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Mohali, Punjab, India. We would always like to resolve any concern with you directly first, so please contact us before taking any other step.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its effective date. The terms in place when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
